‘Overheard’ at the RNC

Don't worry, Republicans — you'll get your chance next week

The Comedy Central show “@Midnight” decided to have a little fun with the crowd inside the Republican National Convention. Or rather, fun at the expense of the crowd.

The show asked the Twittersphere to come up with quotes that were “overheard” at the convention by using the hashtag “#OverheardAtRNC.”

And cribbed speeches:

You didn’t think people wouldn’t make “Happy Days” references with Scott Baio speaking, did you?

Those outfits are pretty extravagant.

It isn’t a real social media thing without some reference to the Kardashians.

Don’t worry, Republicans. Your time will come next week when the Democrats converge in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention and you can use #OverheardatDNC to make fun of kale and gluten-free diets.
