Here Comes Another Musician Mad With Trump
GOP convention playing 'Here Comes the Sun' offends George Harrison estate
The Donald Trump campaign upset one last artist on the last night of the Republican National Convention.
Ivanka Trump walked on to the convention stage Thursday to introduce her father to “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles. The estate of former Beatle George Harrison, who wrote the song, expressed its displeasure:
The unauthorized use of #HereComestheSun at the #RNCinCLE is offensive & against the wishes of the George Harrison estate.

This is not the first time the convention hit a sour note with musicians. Trump walked on stage to Queen’s “We are the Champions” earlier in the week and the band’s Brian May asked that he cease and desist. The Rolling Stones had told Trump to stop using their song “Start Me Up” during the campaign, and the convention closed — curiously — on Thursday with their song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
The Rolling Stones do not endorse Donald Trump. You Can’t Always Get What You Want was used without the band’s permission.

Maybe the Stones suggested that as an alternative like Harrison’s estate did.
If it had been Beware of Darkness, then we MAY have approved it! #TrumpYourself
