Ivanka Trump, daughter and campaign aide to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, met with female GOP senators and congresswomen Tuesday afternoon.

The women discussed childcare and women’s policy issues at the roundtable meeting at the Republican National Committee. Donald Trump released policy proposals for helping working families last week that his daughter helped him develop.

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington, who had extended the invitation to Ivanka Trump, was joined at the meeting by 14 other female GOP lawmakers: Sens. Joni Ernst of Iowa and Deb Fischer of Nebraska, and Reps. Renee Ellmers and Virginia Foxx of North Carolina, Diane Black and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Mimi Walters of California, Susan W. Brooks of Indiana, Elise Stefanik of New York, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Lynn Jenkins of Kansas, Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington and Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, and Del. Aumua Amata Coleman Radewagen of American Samoa.

Blackburn called the meeting “informative” and noted that Ivanka Trump is well-versed in childcare issues. She said the policies should help her father appeal to women voters.

“In my district, especially with suburban moms, it has been very well received,” the Tennessee Republican said.

The gathering comes a day after a private meeting between Ivanka Trump and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan that she requested, Politico reported.
