Hear Senate Democrats Reading Coretta Scott King’s Letter Opposing Sessions

Sen. Elizabeth Warren was barred from the floor Tuesday night for reading a 1986 letter by Coretta Scott King opposing Sen. Jeff Sessions when he was being considered for a federal position. Several of her Democratic colleagues defiantly read the same letter on the floor Wednesday. See the video for excerpts from the letter, as read by Sens. Sherrod Brown, Tom Udall, Jeff Merkley and Bernie Sanders.
