Health Care Negotiations Trump Congressional Basketball Game

Due to a hectic week of health care negotiations on the Hill, none of the lawmakers who were supposed to play the 30th annual Home Court charity basketball game Wednesday night actually showed up. They were replaced by Georgetown University law students and a couple of Hill staffers. A few current and former congressmen (as well as the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee) did stop by to show their support for the game and its charity, the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Roll Call’s Heard on the Hill reporter Alex Gangitano brings you her report.
