Photos of the Week: Science and Pot Protests, a Senate Bus Ride and Kids on the Hill
The week of April 24 as captured by Roll Call's photographers
Congress returned this week from its two-week recess and while fears of a government shutdown fizzled by Thursday, there was a lot of other action on the Hill.
Several protests marked the beginning of the week, including the March for Science on Saturday and a “smoke-in” by a pro-marijuana group on Monday.
On Wednesday, senators boarded buses for a briefing on North Korea down Pennsylvania Ave. at the White House. And Thursday marked the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
