Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Ill., the starting catcher for the Republican team in Thursday night’s game against the Democratic team, attached Roll Call’s Go Pro camera to the top of his catcher’s mask for an up-close view of the action. The camera captured some of the most exciting moments of the game, but it also captured something much more inspiring: the heartfelt camaraderie between political rivals, who for one night shared a field of dreams in honor of Rep. Steve Scalise, still hospitalized after a practice field shooting Wednesday.
