Members of Congress Take Recess Road Trips

Sen. Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn., walked 110 miles across the state of Connecticut during August recess this week — and he wasn’t the only one. Rep. Will Hurd, R-Texas, took a road trip to restaurants in his district, and Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., rode his motorcycle across his state.
