Barney Frank Has a Bone to Pick With Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert

Former Democratic Rep. Barney Frank, one of the architects of the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial overhaul, told CQ Roll Call that left-leaning late night TV shows like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report were “major conservative forces in America.” He said in an interview that these programs’ negative portrayal of all elected officials helped get President Donald Trump elected.
