Trump Heads to Capitol Hill Tuesday Looking for a Legislative Win

President Donald Trump is scheduled to make his first visit to the Senate Republican Conference on Capitol Hill this week, hoping to rally senators to push hard for the administration’s tax reform agenda. But Roll Call White House correspondent John T. Bennett says the meeting might be more than a little awkward — Trump has alienated key allies and his recent tweet on contributions to 401(K) plans could undercut efforts to make the tax cut math work.
