Sens. Christopher S. Murphy, Catherine Cortez Masto, Richard J. Durbin and Richard Blumenthal spoke about expanding background checks for gun purchases. Sen. Blumenthal is sponsoring a bill that would make it more difficult to buy a gun without a background check.
