Ryan, Pelosi Sound Off on GOP Tax Plan After Budget Vote

At his weekly press conference, Speaker Paul D. Ryan celebrated after a close floor vote on a budget resolution that would give Republicans a path to passing a tax overhaul plan in the Senate by a simple majority vote. Minutes later, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi gave a searing indictment of preliminary tax proposals that she says will benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class.
