Crowley: Tax Bill Should Be Called ‘HR 1 Percent’

On the fourth day of the Ways and Means Committee’s marathon markup of the GOP’s tax reform bill, Democratic Rep. Joseph Crowley suggested the bill, HR 1, should instead be called “HR 1 percent,” scrawling a big percent sign next to the bill’s number on a large display.
