Attorney General Jeff Sessions told the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday he had no recollection of a meeting where Trump campaign associate George Papadopoulos proposed that then-candidate Donald Trump meet with Vladimir Putin until after media reports of the encounter surfaced. “I have no clear recollection of the details of what [Papadopoulos] said at that meeting,” Sessions said at the committee hearing. Sessions has previously testified that he was unaware of any contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia.
