Speaker Paul D. Ryan joined a growing chorus of Republican lawmakers calling for Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore to drop out of the race, following multiple allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor, first reported by the Washington Post. The special election is Dec. 12. Several members, however, have remained in support of the embattled former Alabama judge.
