Protesters Chant ‘Kill the Bill’ as Tax Overhaul Advances From Senate Committee

After the gavel went down on a party-line 12-11 vote to send the Republican tax plan to the floor in the Senate, protesters in the Budget Committee hearing room began chanting “Kill the bill, don’t kill us!”
