Tim Scott Stuck in Snowy Charleston
South Carolina Republican tweeted videos trying other forms of transportation
Sen. Tim Scott got to be a kid again on Wednesday when he found himself stuck in inches of snow in his home state.
The South Carolina Republican posted on Twitter that his flight to D.C. from Charleston was canceled, which he was taking to return to work after winter recess.
The east coast storm this week, which has been dubbed the “bomb cyclone,” poured a least three inches of snow at the Charleston International Airport by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the Post and Courier reported.
“Senator, please don’t hurt yourself,” someone yelled in the video he posted of himself rolling off a boogie board after he tried to ride it on the snow.

He posted a video over an hour prior to the boogie boarding incident of the snowfall in South Carolina, which he narrated by saying “brr.”

The area of Charleston near the airport is seeing its fifth heaviest snow since 1938.
