Americans for Prosperity is rolling out another $4 million ad campaign targeting Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly and Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill over their votes against a bill overhauling the tax code.

It’s the second phase of a $20 million digital and TV campaign and comes a month after AFP launched the first $4 million initiative, also against Donnelly and McCaskill.

Each ad features a woman explaining how the GOP tax plan benefits them. The ads begin airing Wednesday and will run for three weeks in each state. The Missouri ad is backed by a $1.8 million buy, while the Indiana spot is backed by a $2.1 million buy.

“Because of the tax cuts I’m able to invest more money back into my business,” a woman named Cathy says in the ad airing in Indiana. “When I heard that Joe Donnelly voted against the tax cuts, I was very disappointed.”

In the Missouri ad, a woman named Lindsay describes how her employer announced it would offer bonuses because of the tax plan. “When I heard Claire McCaskill describe the tax cut as scraps, I think it’s disrespectful,” she says in the ad.

“As more Americans see the benefits of tax reform, they are rightly concerned to learn that some lawmakers, like Joe Donnelly and Claire McCaskill, voted against tax relief for individuals and families,” AFP President Tim Phillips said in a statement Wednesday.

All Senate Democrats voted against the tax plan. Republicans have signaled they’ll make the vote a central part of their 2018 messaging.
