Members Fail to Beat the Press — and the Rain — at the Congressional Softball Game

Female Democratic and Republican lawmakers took on the women of the Washington press corps on Wednesday in the annual Congressional Women’s Softball Game. Rain ended the game five innings in, with the press team declared the winners for the third straight year. Proceeds from the event go to the Young Survival Coalition, which supports young women with breast cancer.
