McConnell Touts Bipartisan Immigration Fix, Schumer Warns of Trump Interference

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says an “unusual couple” of senators, Democrat Diane Feinstein and Republican Ted Cruz, are working on legislation to add clarity to the policy on separating migrant families at the U.S.-Mexico border. But Minority Leader Chuck Schumer warned President Donald Trump might disrupt the appropriations process to demand money for his promised border wall.
