McConnell Wants SCOTUS Nominee’s Merits Considered While Schumer Warns of Partisan Struggles

Ahead of President Trump’s announcement for his nominee to the Supreme Court, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell urged Congress to judge the candidates’ merits before dismissing them. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer scorned the president’s nomination process and shared his dismay over “this new conservative court.”
