Speaker Paul D. Ryan said at a GOP press conference that Ohio State University should pursue an investigation into alleged sexual abuse of collegiate wrestlers by a team physician decades ago, when Rep. Jim Jordan was an assistant coach with the team. Ryan also shot down calls for a House Ethics Committee investigation into the allegations, saying the committee does not probe issues from years prior, when a representative was not serving in the House.
