Senate GOP Stacks 167 Boxes to Illustrate Amount of Kavanaugh Papers Getting Released

Democrats want more of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s papers released than what Republicans have requested. In the latest of that ongoing feud, senators from the Judiciary Committee showed off a chart claiming the amount of documents already requested for review would be taller than the Statue of Liberty if physically stacked up. Senate Democrats have been particularly interested in reviewing papers from Kavanaugh’s time as White House staff secretary in George W. Bush’s administration.
