Pence Outlines Need for U.S. Space Force, Says Space No Longer Peaceful

Vice President Mike Pence spoke at the Pentagon on Thursday about the need to create a “Department of the Space Force” as the sixth branch of the U.S. armed services. He noted the White House will work with Congress to seek funding for such a department by 2020.
