The Capitol Steps: Before and During Recess

The Capitol has been looking and feeling much quieter this week as both the House and Senate are out of session. We set up a time lapse on the House steps to gather the activity — or lack thereof — on this summer Friday. And for comparison, we have a side-by-side time lapse of a Friday four weeks ago when lawmakers bounded down the stairs.
