Warren Targets Corruption in Washington With Proposed Lobbying Bill

Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Tuesday that her new legislation is aimed at regulating lobbying practices in Washington by requiring everyone to register. “Start by fixing the Swiss cheese definition of lobbying,” Warren said at the National Press Club. The Massachusetts Democrat is running for re-election in the Senate this November, and is considered a potential Democratic candidate for president in 2020.
