The Senate Republican Conference asked senators to participate in a tribute video to their late colleague, Sen. John McCain.

And the response was overwhelming, a spokesman for the conference said.

Senators remembered their finest memories of McCain and discuss what he meant to the country over the last week. The video published on Saturday morning.

“John was a great human being and I’m very, very proud that I knew him. Whether you agreed with him or not, you couldn’t help but enjoy him,” Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, said in the video.
