Q: If you could change one thing about the Senate, what would it be?
A: We would have more Republican senators.
Q: What’s something Sen. John McCain said to you, in all your time working together, that you’ll never forget?
A: Unfortunately, that’s not something you can print in a family newspaper.
Q: If you could go back to any time period, whether you’ve lived it or not, what would it be and why?
A: The Constitutional Convention 1787. Would love to have been a delegate.
Q: If you had any down time this summer, what’s something fun that you did?
A: We didn’t have any down time — I cancelled the August recess.
Q: What’s something you do every day, without fail?
A: I have blueberries with my breakfast.
