Hill staffer Kelley Kurtz held an event to release dozens of monarch butterflies outside the Capitol Tuesday evening. Kurtz raised the butterflies herself, and plans to start a staff group for other monarch butterfly enthusiasts. The release was hosted alongside the Pollinator Protection Caucus, a bipartisan group of House members that seeks to protect pollinating insects like bees and butterflies.
