Ocasio-Cortez Choosing Not to Move to DC Until 2019 Anyway

Social media was abuzz last week when Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told The New York Times that she was unsure of how she’d afford an apartment in Washington before her new congressional salary began in January. At a news briefing with the Congressional Progressive Caucus in Washington on Monday, Ocasio-Cortez addressed the question of whether she’d be moving to the district before being sworn-in to the House in 2019.
