Trump Says He’s Giving Mueller Questions a Personal Touch
‘I’ve answered them very easily,’ the president says

President Donald Trump implied Friday that he — and not his legal team — will be personally answering written questions from special counsel Robert S. Mueller III.
“I’ve answered them very easily. I’m working on them,” he told reporters during a bill-signing event in the Oval Office.
“You always have to be careful answering questions for people who have bad intentions,” he said of the former FBI director.

“I haven’t submitted them,” the president said. “I just finished them.”
Trump said nothing in particular caused him to fire off a number of tweets earlier this week criticizing Mueller’s team and its Russia election meddling probe.
The president also again signaled he will make changes to his Cabinet and White House staff.
“I’m very happy with almost all of my cabinet. You know changes are made because they’re always made after the midterms,” he said. “But it’s all fake news.”
