President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump participated in the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Pardon on Tuesday ahead of the holiday. The president took the opportunity to take a few political jabs at the recent midterm election recounts and the special counsel Robert Mueller investigation. The turkeys, named Peas and Carrots, will be spared from the Thursday dinner table and instead live out their lives at Virginia Tech University.
