Watch: Paul Ryan’s Farewell Address on House Floor: From Mailroom Intern to Speaker

Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., gave a farewell address to the 115th Congress on the House floor Thursday, discussing his intern days, the first time he walked down the aisle of the chamber, his election to the speakership and everything in between. He announced in April that he would not seek re-election, ending his career in the House and as speaker. Ryan was elected in 1998 and has served as speaker since 2015.
