Tim Ryan is running for president, here are some congressional basics

Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan is the eighth sitting member of Congress to announce a run for the presidency. Running on a platform that he says will bring swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania back to Democrats in 2020, the Ohio native touts his blue collar roots and close connection to fly-over country.
