GOP leaders aren’t calling Trump’s tirade racist

“No,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said when asked if President Donald Trump’s tweet attacking four lawmakers of color was “racist.”

“Well the president’s not a racist,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said at his weekly news briefing Tuesday.
