Roll Call spent a week on the ground at the Iowa State Fair this summer tracking candidates up and down the ballot as they flipped pork burgers, took countless selfies and made their case to Iowa voters.

Senior politics reporter Bridget Bowman captured it all and is gave her thoughts on why you should still care about Iowa politics, even once the caucuses are over.
