We haven’t seen Bernie Sanders smile quite as big as when he’s standing next to Ariana Grande.

The global pop star posted her support for the 2020 presidential hopeful on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday afternoon.

“Thank you Senator Sanders for coming to my show, making my whole night and for all that you stand for !” The “Into You” singer said in her tweet.

Sanders, a Vermont independent seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, showed his appreciation for the rendezvous at Grande’s show in Atlanta.

“I want to thank @ArianaGrande for not only being a wonderful entertainer, but also for being such an outstanding advocate for social justice.”

Sanders is no stranger to high-profile celebrity endorsements. Grande joins the ranks of notables including rapper Cardi B., Brandi Carlisle, Jason Mraz, Steve Aoki and Miley Cyrus who have voiced past support.

Grande’s announcement came just hours before the fifth Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta where Sanders is set to take the stage.
