Reps. Rashida Tlaib and André Carson joined former Rep. Keith Ellison for a virtual Iftar hosted by civil rights group Muslim Advocates on Tuesday night.

Iftar is the main meal that breaks fasting for Muslims during the month of Ramadan.

The lawmakers spoke about how the pandemic has affected their holy month.
