The National Guard is starting to pack up, but other parts of Wednesday’s historic inauguration remain. The security fence, for example, still encircles the perimeter of the Capitol complex. And the tape marking the spot for President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden to stand in the Ohio Clock Corridor of the Capitol is still stuck to the Senate’s signature ornate floors.
