Advocacy groups organized the women’s day rally on Monday to call on Congress to pass the Raise the Wage Act, which would raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2025. The groups also called for $40 billion in child care funding in the COVID-19 relief bill and posted signs that read “health care for all” and “cancel evictions.”
