CQ Roll Call’s photojournalists among winners in 2025 WHNPA awards

The White House News Photographers Association has revealed winners in their 2025 “The Eyes of History” contest. CQ Roll Call photojournalists Bill Clark and Tom Williams were among the recipients of awards in the categories announced on Saturday. 

Clark’s photo, above, from June 12, 2024, shows staffers for New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen moving “Marty the Moose” through the basement of the Dirksen Senate Office Building for an event. It won the Award of Excellence in the On Capitol Hill category.

Williams’ photo, from July 16, 2024, shows Rudolph Giuliani talking to reporters in the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wis., before the start of the second day of the Republican National Convention. It won the Award of Excellence — Insider’s Washington.
