Sen. James M. Inhofe, R-Okla., announced this week that he would run for re-election in 2014, but plans had already been under way for months. From April through June, his committee spent a quarter of a million dollars gearing up his image and the campaign. The committee paid Strategic Perception Inc. of Hollywood, Calif., $46,648 for media consulting, video production and website design; Segmented Media $2,814 for cloud hosting; Harris Media & Design $27,500 for web design, consulting and advertising; Walkingstick Design Co. (Okla.) $1,800 for campaign T-shirts; Amy Ford Bradley (Va.) $24,870 for fundraising; SAGAC Public Affairs (Okla.) $30,493 for fundraising; SCM Associates Inc. (N.H.) $17,386 for direct mail and also owes them another $6,346; among others. The committee also owes FLS Connect LLC $23,964 for fundraising calls and telemarketing. (more…)
