Call to Order

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), chairman of the Armed Forces subcommittee on strategic forces, conducts a hearing in Room 222 of the Russell Senate Office Building on Monday. The subcommittee convened to hear testimony from Marine Corps Gen. James Cartwright, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, and Linton Brooks, administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration. They discussed strategic forces and nuclear weapons issues as part of a review of the defense authorization request for fiscal 2006.
