Residents urging Trader Joe’s to open at Third and H streets Northeast have organized an online petition to complement the paper version being circulated around the neighborhood.

Alan Kimber, an Advisory Neighborhood commissioner involved in the effort, also said in a release that his group is preparing “economic, demographic and other information to present a business case to Trader Joe’s” that it would be wise to build at the location.
