Florida: EMILY’s List — Kosmas Should Take on Feeney

Former state Rep. Suzanne Kosmas (D) received EMILY’s List’s endorsement this week in the 24th district, seven months out from the Sunshine State’s late summer primary.

Kosmas, a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee recruit, had about $337,000 on hand as of Jan. 1, roughly $120,000 less than embattled incumbent Rep. Tom Feeney (R).

“Suzanne Kosmas is a respected member of the community and will help restore responsibility and integrity to Congress,” EMILY’s List President Ellen Malcolm said in a statement. “She has an impressive history of developing common sense solutions and getting consistent results in both the public and private sectors.”

Before getting to Feeney, Kosmas must first get through Clint Curtis, the 2006 Democratic nominee, in the primary.
