Isakson Takes Top GOP Seat on Ethics

Senate Republicans tapped Sen. Johnny Isakson on Wednesday to fill the Ethics Committee’s top GOP seat. The Georgia Senator succeeds Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), who left the panel following his rise to the National Republican Senatorial Committee chairmanship this cycle. Isakson is joined on the committee by Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) and freshman Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho).
