President Barack Obama on Thursday will raise funds for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Washington, D.C., White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Friday.The effort is part of Obama’s increasing attention to fundraising for Democratic candidates — which is sure to accelerate as the 2010 elections approach.
