House Dems Gave Nearly $1 Million To DCCC In November

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee easily outpaced the National Republican Congressional Committee in November fundraising in large part because of big giving from its much larger membership.

The DCCC received $978,000 of its $3.6 million in November receipts in the form of transfers from the campaign committees of House Democrats, according to a CQ Politics analysis of a fundraising report recently filed with the Federal Election Commission. The NRCC received about $300,000 from its membership in November, when it raised $2.3 million.

In keeping with tradition, Democratic leaders were the biggest donors to the DCCC last month. Majority Whip James E. Clyburn (S.C.) transferred $200,000 to the DCCC and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (Md.) each gave $100,000.
