Sen.-elect Scott Brown (R-Mass.) made it widely known during his victory speech Tuesday night that at least one of his twentysomething daughters is “available— — and one even has star power of her own, as she made it to the semifinal rounds on “American Idol.—[IMGCAP(1)]Ayla Brown appeared on season five of the reality competition, reaching the top 16 but ultimately getting eliminated before the final rounds.She had three notable solo performances, belting out Christina Aguilera’s “Reflection,— Celine Dion’s “I Want You to Need Me— and Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten,— which was her last solo appearance on the show. During her stint on Idol, she even took time to acknowledge her dad, calling him her “American Idol.— Aw.Although she got the “Idol” boot, Brown hasn’t given up on her dream, as she’s released an album and performed across Massachusetts.
