[IMGCAP(1)]On Jan. 22, 1973, former President Lyndon Baines Johnson died in San Antonio after suffering his third heart attack. He was 64 years old. Paying his respects was then-President Richard Nixon, who followed Johnson in office and served until his resignation on Aug. 9, 1974.
